Frequently asked questions.

how Do I schedule an appointment?

The easiest was is to reach out by email at Josh@heyheydetailing.com or by phone at 540-424-0378 Text and email is the easiest for me, but feel free to call and leave a message if I do not answer. I will call back as soon as I can. I will ask for photos of the interior and exterior of your car so I can give you an honest quote, and answer any questions you may have.

Do you require a deposit to schedule?

Yes. I require a deposit of $100 for any service above $200, or $50 for anything less. After discussing the quote, I will send an invoice. Once the initial deposit is paid, you will be locked in on my schedule.

How does the weather affect a service?

If the date and time allotted appears to be affected in the days prior. I will reach out to reschedule. If we are unable to find a “rain check” date, I will refund your deposit. If your car is garaged, I can preform the exterior wash indoors using a RINSELESS WASH process. This requires no hose or pressure washer inside. Heavily soiled vehicles may require a quick pre-rinse outside, but I’m not afraid of a little rain.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel within 72 hours of your service, you will forfeit 50% of your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of your service, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit. If you wish to reschedule, reach out to me and I may waive the cancellation fee. If your reason is public safety related, please reach out to me, and I will handle it on a case by case basis.

What should I expect once scheduled?

Being a mobile detailer, I will come to you! For the time being, I will need a readily available hose spigot and power outlet relatively nearby to a paved or gravel spot for the car I’m working on. I will provide every other piece of equipment, hoses, extension cords, etc… Most details last from 2-6 hours on average.

What is your availability?

In my line of work, I know my schedule in advance. Unfortunately, I also have to swap between days and nights on a monthly basis. However, I intend on allotting at least one or two details a week at minimum. I will discuss timing prior to sending you an official quote and invoice.

Do Ceramic Coatings Require maintenance?

YES AND NO! The coatings are designed to make the day to day care of your car easier. While protecting your investment. The gloss and slickness are only a side effect! If you want to continue to use automatic car washes, you can. BE WARNED, it will directly effect the lifespan and performance of the coating in the long run.

If you want the best long lasting results, a quick hand-wash and drying with a gentle car soap will do the trick. ((not dawn, I recommend Adams Car Shampoo which is available at most auto parts stores and Walmart. It is best to buy any soap version without “Wax” in the name)). Dry the car with microfiber towels or electric leaf blower to prevent water spots! An occasional (3-6 month) full decontamination “maintenance" wash recommended. This is to eliminate any built up road grime, minerals, and chemicals on the outer layer of the coating. Thankfully, your first maintenance wash is 50% off after being coated.
